FAQ

Clear answers before starting a conversation.

These answers are indicative for the first phase of BWAY Producers Network.

My product is not finished yet. Could BWAY be interested?

Yes. One of BWAY's main differences is that we can reach agreements on products that still need time: wines in barrel, spirits in maturation, hams in curing, cheeses that are maturing or future production. If we reach an agreement, we will define the purchase, care of the product and delivery when it is ready with you.

Is BWAY looking to buy cheaper?

No. BWAY's proposal is not about pushing prices down. We want to buy earlier, while the product still needs time, respecting the producer's margin and agreeing clear terms for both sides.

What producers is BWAY looking for?

We look for producers with story, craft and good products: wineries, distilleries, dry-curing producers, olive mills, cheese makers, canneries, roasters and other producers with identity and origin. Traditional methods, know-how, careful production and the ability to build a serious commercial relationship matter to us.

How does the relationship begin?

First we want to get to know you: who you are, what you make and what makes you different. If we see an interesting possibility for both sides, we will talk directly to understand the product, its current stage, availability and terms.

What can be agreed if the product is still in progress?

We can discuss purchase, payment under agreed terms, care of the product until delivery, follow-up and expected availability. Each agreement must be clear to both sides before it starts.

Are finished products also interesting?

Yes. BWAY can also discuss finished products with the producer's own brand, available references, special lots or products that could reach new audiences through purchase, supply or commercial collaboration.

Does BWAY want to understand the producer story?

Yes. We want to understand your story, territory, facilities, track record, way of working and what you are proud of. This conversation helps build trust and better understand the real value of the product.

What documentation may BWAY ask for?

For a first conversation, clear information about the producer, products, production stage, availability and contact details is enough. If the conversation moves forward, we may ask for commercial information, traceability, technical data or complementary documentation. Sensitive information will be handled carefully and, when appropriate, under a confidentiality agreement.

Does BWAY visit or taste products?

When a conversation moves forward, we like to meet the producer, facilities and way of working in person. Visits, tastings and meetings help us understand the product better and build trust. They are organised case by case and always by prior agreement.

How are commercial terms discussed?

Terms are discussed directly and clearly: product, current stage, quantities, price, payment, care until delivery, timing, logistics and responsibilities. Nothing is closed by submitting a form; any operation needs terms accepted by both sides.

Does submitting products guarantee a purchase?

Submitting your products opens a conversation, not an automatic purchase. If we see an interesting opportunity for both sides, we will talk with you to explore it and decide whether it makes sense to move forward.

Can origin experiences be proposed?

Yes. BWAY can discuss visits, tastings, tours, workshops and encounters when the producer, facilities, territory and operational safety allow it. Experiences are a complementary opportunity, not an obligation for the producer.

How long does the process take?

There is no single timeframe. It depends on the product, its production or maturation stage, available information, the producer's timing and the nature of the possible agreement. We will keep the conversation clear when there is a real opportunity to work on.

Are there charges or costs for submitting products?

The initial submission through this website does not establish any automatic charge. If any future external cost, specific service or economic condition applies to a concrete proposal, it must be expressly approved and documented before it applies.

How is the privacy of submitted information protected?

The information is used to understand the proposal and manage the conversation. BWAY applies limited internal access and reasonable security measures. Sensitive or extended information may require a confidentiality agreement before it is shared or reviewed in detail.

Is there a private producer space?

At this stage, producers are followed up by the BWAY team through the contact details provided. If a private producer space is introduced later, BWAY will explain it clearly.

How are payments, commissions or settlements handled?

Payments, commissions, settlements and possible external costs are not managed from the public form. Any economic condition must be agreed separately, in writing and before it applies.

What are BWAY reference codes?

If you have a BWAY reference code, you can include it when presenting your products. It helps BWAY understand who introduced you or where you came from; it does not create automatic rights, priority or commissions without a prior agreement.

Can local collaborators participate?

Yes. People who know a producing area well may introduce producers, support visits, help with local experiences or recommend BWAY Premium when there is a prior agreement with clear roles and conditions.
